Međutim, bebe koje se hrane više od pola litre formule za dojenčad dnevno ne bi trebale dobivati dodatke vitamina jer je formula već obogaćena vitaminom D i drugim hranjivim tvarima.
Prednosti CLO u odnosu na vitamin D kapi
Ulje jetre bakalara u prednosti je u odnosu na kapi vitamina D za bebe i djecu jer osim vitamina D sadrži i korisnu omega-3 masnu kiselinu DHA, koja između ostalog potiče zdravlje mozga i očiju.
Još jedna prednost ulja jetre bakalara je to što također sadrži vitamin A. Osim što pomaže u održavanju normalnog vida, ovaj vitamin doprinosi održavanju normalne kože.
Koliko ulja jetre bakalara za bebe?
U Norveškoj, gdje se proizvodi Möllerovo ulje jetre bakalara (i daje se bebama i djeci tisućama godina), liječnici savjetuju roditeljima da svojim bebama daju ½ standardizirane žličice od 5 ml dnevno, od četiri tjedna, te da postupno povećavaju na punu standardiziranu žličicu od 5 ml. To pokriva dnevnu potrebu za vitaminom D, koja iznosi 10 mikrograma dnevno. NHS savjetuje da se za davanje tekućih lijekova nikada ne koriste kućne čajne žličice jer se razlikuju po veličini.
Vitamin D je toliko važan za djecu jer su u vrlo aktivnoj fazi kada je u pitanju izgradnja kostiju i zuba koji se sastoje od kalcija. Vitamin D je neophodan za tijelo da apsorbira kalcij iz hrane i mlijeka. Ovaj vitamin također doprinosi održavanju normalne funkcije mišića.
Naviknete li svoju djecu na uzimanje ulja jetre bakalara od djetinjstva, postavit ćete dobre temelje koji će osigurati odgovarajuću opskrbu vitaminom D i omega-3 masnim kiselinama u kasnijem djetinjstvu i odrasloj dobi.
Ali pazite da svojoj djeci ne date previše vitamina. Neki dodaci prehrani koji se izdaju bez recepta sadrže druge vitamine ili sastojke pa pazite da svom djetetu ne dajete dva dodatka koji sadrže iste vitamine u isto vrijeme. Na primjer, nemojte im davati ulje jetre bakalara i kapi vitamina D, jer ulje jetre bakalara također sadrži vitamine A i D. Dovoljan je jedan dodatak prehrani sam po sebi.

When you get older, you lose muscle mass and your body requires less energy and therefore less food. You may lead a less active life than you did before, which is why you require less food. However, your need for minerals, vitamins and other nutrients remains the same. Of course, there are plenty of healthy and active older people, but when you reach 70 to 80 years of age, it’s easier to become ill, especially during flu season.

These are values that are rather felt than measured, which in turn are based on personal environment and choices. Quality of life doesn’t necessarily depend on being healthy or sick. It’s the moments between worries, sorrows, problems and ailments that matter. For example, if you have a chronic illness, a feeling of mastery can be important when talking about quality of life.
To sum up, quality of life is a combination of health, lifestyle, networks and social support. It’s about experiencing joy, meaning in life, satisfaction, security and a sense of belonging, as well as being able to use your strengths. It’s also about feeling interest in life, coping with everyday situations and a being committed to something or someone. If you have good quality of life, you will be able to cope better with the inevitable stressful situations in life.
